Jojoba Hills is the perfect RV home base for fulltime RVers who want to belong in a community. It’s more than the smiles, waves and hugs that are abundant. It’s the sense of a common purpose and co-op membership in an RV park with extensive amenities that speak to the many passions we share. Whether you are into the arts, nature, food, fitness or just hanging out with friends, Jojoba Hills is the place to be.

As your RV pulls into your site, the home you created, you re-enter your neighborhood role. Together we share the work and the joy of this beautiful Coastal Slope oasis. Jojoba Hills uniquely fosters a strong sense of community, connection, and belonging. We are active participants working toward a common goal: being good stewards of our home and community to maintain and enhance it. By doing so, we gain a sense of purpose, make solid friendships, and enrich our own lives through the process. Working together we get to really know each other and appreciate the unique talent and skills we each bring. In many ways, we become a family.

Jojoba Hills has amenities and activities for every interest. From pickleball to a new golf simulator at our driving range, from the pottery and art studios to the wood working and metal shops, from theatrical performances to numerous musical groups, from Zumba classes to hand weights, organized hikes, water aerobics, a lap pool, two Jacuzzis, and that is just the beginning. All of this is happening in a beautiful location nestled in the Palomar Hills, just 15 miles east of Temecula, CA. While that short distance from town allows us to bask in sunny, mild winter days and blissfully quiet star-filled nights, we are still within a two-hour drive to Palm Springs, San Diego, and Los Angeles.

About Life at Jojoba Hills
After a wonderful evening enjoying the company of friends, with my wife fast asleep, I stepped out onto the balcony from our room tonight and found myself standing in one of those rare moments that stop you in your tracks. The moon rose bright and unhurried, casting a long silver pathway across the water, almost as if someone had polished a road just for us to follow. The sea was calm, the wind easy, and the world felt respectfully quiet.
It reminded me of home at Jojoba.
There are nights at Jojoba when the desert sky feels close enough to touch, when neighbors sit beneath the stars sharing stories, laughter, or sometimes just silence. Looking out over that moonlit ocean felt no different, steady, peaceful, familiar. The water moved like our community spirit does, gentle but strong, shining even in the dark, always carrying us forward.
Moments like this remind me how lucky we are, not only to travel, explore, and see places like this, but to have a place and a people to come home to. Jojoba isn’t just an RV park, it’s a heartbeat. It’s a welcome. It’s a feeling that somehow follows you, whether you’re in the desert or out at sea.
So here’s to all of us, to home, to horizons yet unseen, to moonlight on the water and starlight in our desert. May we continue, like the tide, to move forward together, quiet, steady, beautifully connected.

Maybe it’s because I’ve been here for almost six years, but the words spoken today really hit my heart more than ever. We celebrated our wonderful founders who literally carved our home out of a rocky hill, one bucket load at a time. Their unselfish devotion to building a dream 32 years ago brought me to tears more than once. The lone contractor was a kid then and he told beautiful stories of the hurdles that were cleared with over a hundred volunteers. God, I love this place.
